Since 2010, Morgridge and her husband John have focused the philanthropic focus of the foundation on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education, including the installation of interactive white boards in classrooms and other community centers across the State of Colorado. The foundation has been instrumental in supporting a major capital project at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Morgridge also played an instrumental role in the development and capitol construction of the Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver. Morgridge founded the Student Support Foundation to cultivate high school philanthropists and to educate youth on the importance of giving, and is the education advisor to the Tavistock Group. Morgridge created a teacher training conference called Share Fair. Since 2010 this annual event has trained over 5,000 teachers in a new pedagogy of teaching incorporating technology in the classroom, from learning how to use a SMART board, incorporating 1:1 laptops in the classroom, blended learning, project based learning, flipped classrooms, Edmodo social media and many others. Keynote speakers for the teachers and the public have included Sal Khan and Dr. Jane Goodall. In 2010, Morgridge received the distinguished Francis Weis-Jacobs Women of the Year award from the Mile High United Way. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees at the University of Denver, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and NJCTL board for Progressive Math Initiative (PMI) and Progressive Science Initiative (PSI). Morgridge has been publicly recognized for her work at National Jewish Hospital and Denver Academy. Morgridge serves in an advisory capacity and speaks nationally to education advocacy and technology-focused forums. Morgridge graduated Suma Cum Laude from the International Academy of Design and Technology. In November 2015, John and Carrie Morgridge were honored with the Hope Award, from Tony LaRussa's Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). The Hope Award, named for an ARF dog who overcame many obstacles to stand on all four feet, salutes those who truly embody the human-animal bond. ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Carrie Morgridge」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
